WHAT WE DO
Youth Care UPA, is an out-of-home foster care service for children and young persons. We started out as Kids in Care in 1997 and maintain the same values and mission as we did then, today.

Youth Care UPA is situated on the North Coast of NSW and is funded by the NSW Department of Community Services.

Our policy is to place children and young persons in situations which best suit their individual needs. These placements may include foster carer families, boarding schools and independent supported living arrangements.

YOUTH CARE UPA’S MISSION
Is to provide a quality out-of-home program, which empowers children and young persons, and creates opportunities for their future to enhance their quality of life.

YOUTH CARE UPA Provides an environment where all children and young persons placed in Youth Care UPA’s out-of-home care programs, are given the opportunity to experience love, security, and a sense of belonging.

AREA COVERED
Youth Care UPA services the area from Tweed Heads in the north, Evans Head in the south to Casino and beyond in the west - including Ballina, Alstonville, Byron Bay, Lismore.

Maxine's Story

The best thing about being a carer is being able to offer a home to a child and give them the opportunity to live without fear of abuse and neglect.
